Show La Yerkin Married Men Take Measure Of "Singles" On July 25 BY BOB JTJDD LaVERKTN, Utah The idea that the kids now days get all the breaks lost it's significance in the July 25 baseball game between the united forces of the single men of La Verkin and Hurricane and the united forces of the married mar-ried men of La Verkin and Hurricane, Hur-ricane, for the old married stiffs with their moth-ball arms and experienced ex-perienced ball (bald) heads sure got the lucky breaks or then-Christmas then-Christmas Gifts early. The married men, after being completely smothered and exasperated exas-perated after five hitless innings, (the singles during the same period scored four times), called on mother luck. In return they acquired four hits for the remainder remain-der of the game, nine tallies, and nine errors "from the single bucks. The singles came back in the first of the ninth to run the ending score to 8-9, but they were unable to live down their errors, beautiful beauti-ful pitching by Dclworth Wilson and the timely hitting of the married mar-ried men.
