In spite of co'.d weather and its accompanying discomforts the college play, "Our Children." was presented at Enterprise where it was greatly enjoyed, Monday night. As extra-curricular activities; Dixie college sent representatives to the different state meets last week. The high school debating team under coach John T. Woodbury. Jr., and consisting of Mary Morris. Mor-ris. Ina Bleak. R.enae Hickman, and Edwin Demille placed second in the semi-finals. Leland Brooks and Frank Miles went to Ogden for the tennis meet where Leland took second place. Our track team was not very successful in taking places, but they gained in experience and we feel they are to be commended. As a grand final to their successful suc-cessful school year the Freshman class went to Veyo, Thursday. May 11, where they danced, swam, ate, etc. They did have fun! |
