Show NEW HARMONY YOUTH DIES OF HEART TROUBLE - Claude V. Taylor, 22-year-old son of Mrs. Lurene P. Taylor, died on "February 24 at the family home in New Harmony after a lingering illness with heart trouble. Claude Taylor was toorn on Sept. 4, 1907, in New Harmony, and has resided there all his life. Besides his mother he is survived by four sisters, sis-ters, Beulah, Verda, Josephine and Ha. He was an honest and upright young man in every respect and has numerous relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services were held in the ward hall on February 26, with Counselor Donald Schmutz officiating. officiat-ing. The Cedar City choir sang "Beautiful Zion" Prayer was by Henry A. Pace. Speakers were Fay Iverson, Albert F. Mathis. and J. G. Pace. Mrs. Riiea Wakeling read a poem and a solo was rendered by Miss Alice Williams. The concluding song was by the Cedar City choir. Benediction Benedic-tion was by Counselor George F. Prince. The services were largely attended attend-ed and the floral offerings were profuse. The grave in the city cemetery ceme-tery was dedicated by James Taylor. |
