The salespersons were disorderly and threat- talking to strangers, whether taught | from school or from parents. It cannot hurt to remind them periodically and teach them more as they are older. The: predators of society are still using the same things to lure children as they did when I was a child. They offer “candy”. Or they ask children to help them look for their lost dog or kitten. Some pretend to “know” the child or the child’s parents. Some parents have a codeword they tell trusted family or friends. If the person approaching the child is legitimate, then the child asks _ the person for the codeword. If the person does not have the proper codeword the child was taught, then the child will know to go find a safe person or place and tell them about what happened. Talking to your child about the “good touch, bad touch” is a topic I wish would never have to be done.
