By the end of the first act, I even found myself watching lips to make sure no one was lip- syncing because it was unfath- omable that anyone, be it Bateman, also a B.Y.U. grad, - or McGovern could sing that well that long. The stage is sparse, a trend in Sundance’s Summer -Theatre this season. The characters are dressed in monochromatic blues. Anything more elaborate would run the risk of detracting from the play itself.
