The Federal 9-10-9-17 is currently a Green River Formation oil production well. The applicant intends to convert the well to an enhanced recovery injection in-jection well to support existing Green River Formation enhanced oil recovery operations in the Greater Monument Butte Oil Field. The proposed pro-posed injection zone is within an established hydrocarbon producing interval mat is not known to serve as a source of drinking water in this area. The approved injection injec-tion zone for enhanced recovery is the Green River Formation between the top of the Garden Gulch Member to the top of the Wasatch Formation, Forma-tion, estimated at 5837 feet. Analysis of water from the proposed injection injec-tion zone indicates the total dissolved solids concentration con-centration is 8653 mg I. There are no known surface folds or faults in the field. The proposed pro-posed injectate is a blend of source water from the Johnson Water District Reservoir that may be blended with other produced water at the Monument Butte Injection Facility. -A Draft Permit or modification modi-fication has been prepared pre-pared in accordance with Water Act (SDWA) as amended (42 USC et seq) and other lawful standards and regulations.
