Show funeral for A jensen pioneer held sunday t LARGE ORO CROW PAY RAY THEIR LART RESPECTS TO ANDREW DUDLEY BR SM WHO DIED SUDDEN by LY ON MONDAY funeral services eel vices for andrew dudley sr utah and ashley valley pioneer who died suddenly last monday were held in the jensen ward house sunday march 22 at p m the house was very appropriately pria tely decorated and the largest crowd ever assembled in the jeneen jensen ward house was in nA attendance the invocation was given by president ernest baton eaton and benediction was proun pronounced ced by J M aa shaffer the grave was dedicated by T J cald ell the speakers epe ep akere eakers were joseph mckee T J caldwell congressman don B colton and bishop fred wall interment was in the jensen cemetery mr dudley was the father of eighteen children eleven of whom are still living they are andrew dudley jr and joseph 8 dudley denisen Je nisen stephen M hosmer roomer AL M and sanford if or alberta canada mrs mary E wilkins mrs atta chatwin and mrs oils Wi of benben mrs guyletta stewart and julina butcher of vernal mrs E eph ph of lapoint besides his children he is survived by six brothers and five st sisters aters citty fifty seve f grandchildren rand children twenty greal grand children and two great great gracd gra nd children grandfather dudley was born borni june 6 0 1844 in illinois and to utah in 1852 when only weight years of age jn the summer of 1863 he lie drove an ox cx team back to the missouri river to help bring the saints to utah fie he waa was always prominent in helping fo to defend the pioneers against the indians indiana ho he was a a veteran of the black hawk var and many other indian troubles his ills home wa was in spanish fork until 1887 when ben he be moved his family to the ashley valley talley an and d built a new home borne Je beinsen Insen he flo was loved end and admired by every one who knew him and will be missed by a host of friends |
