HARRY SAUNDERS succumbs Masonic rites Wednesday honor Harry Saunders Funeral services for Harry Gilbert Saunders, 56, Vernal were held Wednesday Wed-nesday at 11 a.m. in the Vernal Masonic Temple. Mr. Saunders died October 7, 1979 in St. Marks Hospital in Salt Sake City. He was born July 12, 1923 in Pagoda, Colorado to Roger M. Saunders and Jessie E. Smith Saunders; married Flora M. McCoy Oct. 14, 1947. He was an independent contractor; veteran of World War II, U.S. Marine Corps; member of the Kingsbury Community Church; was a 32 degree Mason; member of Ashley Lodge 28, F&AM, Vernal; member of El Kalah Shrine, Scottish Rite; presiding president of I'intah Basin Shrine Club. Survivors are widow of Vernal, one son and three daughters: Jim Lee and Sue A. Burton both Vernal; Mr. J.W. (Carolyn) Bloom of Park City, Utah; Gay, Ogden; two granddaughters; one brother and four sisters; Roger M., Jr. Okinawa: Mrs. Cora Monrow, Evan-ston, Evan-ston, Wyo; Mrs. C.C. (Gretchyn) Watson, Craig, Colorado; Mrs. G.E. (Jessie May) Hicks, Sidney, Nebraska; Mrs. J.D. (Geraldine) Maltby, Kern-merer, Kern-merer, Wyo. Interment was in the Maeser Fair-view Fair-view Cemetery. |
