Oquirrh Hills PTA Elects The Oquirrh Hills PTA will have their final meeting for the year April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room of tthe school, and elections of officers will be held. Mrs. Glenn has been serving as president of the City Council, Epsilon Sigma Alpha for the 1963-6year. Others elected were Mrs. Val (Helen) Gass, vice president; Mrs. Jim (Jean) Hickman, corresponding secretary; Mrs. Lester (Shirley) Buckley, recording secretary; Mrs. Gerald (Gloria) Hallman, treasurer; and Sonny (Marlene) Roberts educational director. The officers will be installed May 13. The educational portion of the meeting featured a special guest, Mrs. Max (Conni) Lawrence, who was brought by Mrs. Roberts. Mrs. Lawrence is from Denmark. She has lived in the United States for 10 years and has been a Kearns resident for the past seven. She illustrated her tour of Denmark with beautiful slides to acquaint the women with the beautiful country. A Danish Rum Pudding was served by Mrs. Roberts to add just the right finishing touch to the evening. Mrs. Alvin (Ida) Scoggan was a guest at the meeting, along with members Mrs. Glenn, Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Buckley Mrs. Gas, Mrs. Jack (Alice) Miller, Mrs. Lloyd (Clair) Pullum, and Mrs. Russell (Betty) Andrews.
