For heating a home a wood burning stove is much more efficient. Fire places are purely ornamental, they said. A fire should place chimney be cleaned once a year, depending on how often it is used and what kind of wood is burned. They said the drier the wood the cleaner it burns. It is bad to bring cold wood onto a fire, they warned, it usually starts to smoke. Their advice is to bring in a number of logs at the beginning and let them meet room temperature before burning. They explained they work with a mason who does the brick labor involved. For fuel efficiency and less expense installation of a wood burning stove is the route to take. They noted many people do not know how to build a fire. It is best to start with small wood, then paper and air space before adding the bigger logs. Finding tire places that are simply poorly designed is another problem for the Bristle Brothers Chimney Sweeps. allow Rod mentioned he had been in very expensive homes and the residents could not use the basement fireplace because it smoked up the entire house. They sell and install stoves from $300 to $2000. They reported many people are buying wood stoves to save on fuel bills. To protect themselves the stoves they sell must be done according to the National Fire Protection Code. Wood burning stoves get a build-u- p that reduces their heating efficiency and the Bristle Brothers can take care of this problem. Today steel plated wood stoves are more popular than cast-iro- n stoves. BRISTLE BROS.
