(Application for a license is now on file; 'and following a meeting with the governors advisory board next week, the association expects to be registered as an organization. 298-837- 0, CAMP FIRE GIRLS A progressive dinner was enjoyed recently by members of Vera Huffmans Tawasi Aowa-kiy- a Jr. Hi Camp Fire Girls. At each home, the girls displayed handerkcheifs they had trimmed with chocheted lace. The hand-kie- s were the girls annual 1963-6- 4 birthday project and Jr. High Group Torchbearer Rank which will be1 presented at a Grand Council Fire May 8 at 8 p.m. at the Granger High School. All other Camp Fire and Blue Bird groups in the Salt Lake Valley will participate in the event. The progressive dinner began at the home of Mrs. Martha Relph with a green gelatin sal ad. The main course, consisting of sloppy Joe hamburgers, potato chips and a drink, was served at the home of Mrs. Irene Abeyta. A pudding dessert and cocoa were served at the home of Mrs. Vera Blockovich. The dinner helped fill a Rank Requirement, and some of the girls helped prepare the dinner to earn individual awards. The girls have begun to clean up the ground around the Trinity Methodist Church in prep-- 1 aration for Proud Week in Kearns. Mrs. Huffman reports that during Camp Fire Birthday Week, the girls gave five cakes to people who have helped them during the year. This project will ful-- i fill a Wood Gatherer Rank Requirement. Helen Calvins Happy Blue Birds made a Flag presentation at the David Gourley PTA meeting last week. The Odako Camp Fire group will make the Flag presentation at the West Kearns PTA meeting April 16. Some of Mrs. Calvins group are watching a Home Nursing program on Channel 7 at 6:30 p.m. Monday evening to learn various nursing techniques and earn honor beads. All members of the group are very talented, and had wonderful time. John C. Fremont PTA Elects Officers New officers were elected this Monday night at our last PTA meeting for the year. Ellen Myerhoff was elected as president. Elaine Olsen as vice president, Joyce Anderson as secretary and Jean Parris as treasurer. School lunch was served to 325 people.
