Several Elders donated blood for her. We wish her a speedy recovery. The Young Marrieds Class of the Taylorsville Third Ward attended a Christmas party at the Recreation Center last Tuesday. They enjoyed a good dinner and program. They exchanged gifts with each other. A Christmas party is planned for all children in the Taylorsville 4th Primary. It will be held December 20 at 4:30 p.m There will be a program consisting of some of the Primary children. 'Santa Claus will will be there to give each child a ers and their partners will be held by the Taylorsville Fourth Ward Thursday, December 14. An supper will be served. The food is to resemble that used by the Pioneers. They will decorate a tree with strings of pop om and other decorations that were used in the early days. Lloyd McDermott and his wife, Cherie, are happy to have a new baby girl. Her name is Carie Ann. old-fashion- ed p.m. It will be $10 per family donation. A Christmas program will follow the dinner. The members of the Bishopric inform us that the last dinner was very successful. They thank everyone who supported them and encourage everyone to help make this one as successful. Mr. Bowen is the program chairman for the Roadshow. This group recentl yentertained the enlisted men at Hill Field Air Force Base with a Christmas Variety Show. He will tell of his trips to the Book of Mormon Lands and show films he took while he was there with Brother Milton R. Hunter. All Elders and their wives and anyone else interested are invited to attend. Church officials have repeatedly warned that calamaties and emergencies may come at any time and members of the LDS Church should be prepared by storing foods as has been taught for the past 20 years in the Welfare plan. All members of the Taylorsville 4th Ward are encouraged to take part in the food storage plan that is offered by the Ward. Orders are taken once a months after Sacrament meeting. A new list is offered each month so that a variety of food may be stored. Elders of the Taylorsville Third Ward are selling Christmas trees at the service station on 4100 So. Redwood Road. The trees are priced from $1.50 up. All money collected will go toward their building fund. Give these men your help. Shelby Cook announces that the Granite High School swimming pool will be closed the week of Christmas for draining and cleaning. No swimming classes will be held on Wednesday of that week.
