The building will contain offices for the executive director, W. Ferrell 8homas, as well as kennel runs, separate quarters for cats, isolation area for observation of sick or diseased animals, a boiler room and feed room. Although the building will house animals from all over the state it is hoped that it will serve to alleviate some ofthe animal problems which the Kearns area has. The Town Council reports that it .has had no official infomation on how Kearns will be affected by the new facilities, but Orin Hunter voiced as his personal opinion that the new building will provide a closer source of assistance in handling stray dogs and cats. By the time reports are made an animal to be picked up and acted upon, the animal has usually left the area. Now, with mpre closely situated buildings, this problem may be eased. con-concerni- ng The Granger WBBA is having a pot luck supper party at the Granger Community Park Saturday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. Free drinks and watermelon will be furnished.
