If you are moving within a state, your costs can vary quite abit! Ask your friends and associates who have moved recently about their experiences. Get more than one estiand make mate in writing sure the estimate tells you what the mover will provide, for example the size of the vans, the hourly rate, and the estimated number of hours as well as charges for extras such as disconnecting and reconnecting appliances. Find out what the insurance covers. You may want to buy additional coverage. Remember, dont sign the receipt for your belongings until you have checked for surface damage. If there is any, youd better look inside right away. If something is missing, or damaged, have the mover note it on the delivery receipt before you sign it.
