Just like they say, they've got steaks, burgers and chicken. The restaurant is located at The Shops at Riverwoods in Orem, Utah. The menu ranges from burgers and sandwiches for about $7 to thick slabs of juicy steak for about $18. These meals come with various side dishes, including baked potatoes, salads, fries, etc. Although the price is a bit high for the average college student, I definitely think it's worth paying for since the taste is amazing and you get quality food. The restaurant has few places to sit down and eat. It looks like it's designed mostly for carryout or delivery. Another great idea to go is right next door to Tomasso's Italian Ice for dessert. They serve delicious flavors of Italian ice and soft serve ice cream with flavors twisted into it such as butterscotch, pina colada, green apple or peach. You can choose up to two flavors to twist together. (Butterscotch and green apple blended make a delicious "caramel-y" tasting blend.) The service is very friendly and the prices are low. Both shops are definitely worth checking out. Phil and his parents moved to Utah when he was 13 after doing a foreign exchange program. Reinforcing his music by expanding into his many interests such as photography and graphic design, Phil doesn't just have something to say and something to play; he has something to show for it. Q: How would you describe yourself, musically? A: Musically ... it's tough. I try not to make music that can be easily classified as this or that. ... Music always comes first. ... It's like clay; you start with an idea, a foundation, and you slowly build it into something. It's ever evolving.... At some point, you just have to be satisfied with what you've created. Q: I know you were born in Moscow, but how old were you when you moved to Bountiful? A: I was 13. That was a hell of a thing to experience. I love having that as my background. But the transition was tough. I was always a shy kid. I'm much better now, but the whole high school experience sucked. Q: What's your overall goal as both an artist and a musician? A: My goal is to make an album I'm proud of. And I hope it strikes people-makes them think. I hope it's something they haven't heard before. Q: Describe a typical creation process. A: Music is the most fun. I just start messing around and playing different parts. If something sounds good, I'll record it and start building on top of it track by track. I'll let it run (while I) keep going back and revising it over time until I have a song. I've been writing lyrics separately and not always with a particular song in mind. Lyrics are so tough. It's all been said before. Q: Do you plan on playing live shows? A: Yes, after I finish the album. I'd add a visual element to it as well. It would be quite a production-a lot of energy, loud, visuals, lights. There will be moments of peace as well, not a full on assault. Q: What musical training have you had? A: Some piano as a kid and school choir. That's about it. My dad is a musician, so I think he passed it on to me. We share the studio.
