Around 5:30 p.m. a car fire erupted in parking lot L4 on the north side of UVU campus near the library. The flames originated from a Pontiac Grand Prix and spread to the four surrounding vehicles according to Kevin Kemp of the Orem City Fire Department. ALEX SOUSA//lIVU REVIEW Team Rise wins 2014 UVUSA election By KresLynn Knouse Assistant News Editor @kreslynn BLAKE MCCIARY//UVU REVIEW Candidates from Team Rise erupted in tears and embraced as all six representatives were announced as winners of the 2014 UVUSA election. A record-breaking percentage of the student body participated in voting this year, with more than 15 percent of students casting ballots. There were 3,652 ballots cast, which signifies over 1,000 additional students voted this year when compared to last year's election. "I'm happy to see lots of students to come out to vote said previous student body president Jono Andrews. "I'm excited for this new chapter at UVU and I'm excited to see the fun things they bring to campus:' UVU & BYU finish last in sexual health resources By KresLynn Knouse Assistant News Editor @kreslynn Universities across the nation were just delivered their annual sexual health report card for the eighth year in a row - and once again, UVU has some room for improvement. The Trojan Sexual Health Report Card is a study conducted by Sperling's BestPlaces that ranks universities based on the sexual health resources and information offered on campus.
