Peacetime unemployment is lower under Republicans than Democrats and unemployment compensation is higher. Republicans have also extended unemployment coverage to four million more workers and spurred many States to increase benefits. take-hom- Strike losses are now less than half what they were in Trumans last year. Labor unions are largest ever. The new AFL-CImerger brings them to peak strength. Social Security benefits have been increased and extended by Republicans to 10 million more workers. Some 1.5 million railroad, workers were voted higher'retirement benefits and unemployment insurO ance. Two million working mothers were given a tax break for child care amounting j to $120 on a $3000 income. Farmer Top priority has been given by President Eisenhower to the farm program in 1956. Three-fifth- s of the farm price President Eisenhower said this week that he would use the achievements of the present administration as his personal platform. Precinct workers in the Republican party in Utah and the rest of the nation can follow his lead. During the next few months the political verbiage will fly thick. Every Republican must be ready to answer and defend his answers decline since the Korean War peak in 1951 occurred under the Democrats. The Republican Administration has recaptured many lost markets abroad and expanded consumption of food and fiber at home.
