Price Girl Member U Touring Singers Sharon Hoidaway from Price a sophomore at the University of Denver has been selected as a member of the 1958 touring choir of the University She is studying voice at DU and is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Dean J Hoidaway of Price She graduated from Carbon high school in Price in 1956 The choir of 45 students directed by Professor Daniel Moe will sing for community groups in six 5 states from January Their tour will include 12 performances in principal cities in Utah Colorado Nevada Arizona New Mexico and California The group has won acclaim on previous annual tours of the West const and the Rocky Mountain region Singing a cappclla the choir will present a diversified program of choral music including compositions by J S Bach the contemporary French composer Darius Milhaud and oountempor-ar- y American composers traditional carols and spirituals The choir is scheduled to perform at the Price Municipal auditorium Thursday
