But note that the Blacks are to earn' the burden of ultimate revolutionary destruction. This has been a Communist goal appearing in Party literature since 1928. For years security officers have known that this totally vicious and depraved objective has been the primary reason the Communists have infiltrated and dominated the civil rights movement. Their intention has been to promote policies which ignored the civil rights of both Blacks and Whites and concentrated on bringing Black militants into hostile confrontation with their White neighbors. The idea was to foment enough reaction from the Whites to alienate the Blacks and thereby facilitate the mobilization of the Almost overnight several hundred SDS chapters on college campuses shifted from participatory dem- ocracy to the most rabid and inflammatory agitation for naked violence the country had ever seen. The leaders of SDS opcnlv linked arms with all the hard-cor- e Marxist-Leninirevolutionists. They began making the traditional pilgrimage to Cuba to get the word from Robert F. Williams (notorious Communist leader in exile of RAM, the Black Panthers, the Black Guard, the Republic of New Africa in USA. etc.). Continuous, interlocking conferences were held with the leaders of the W. 1C. DuBois Clubs, SNCC, RAM and the guerrilla warfare instructors of the Communist Party. Before long a tight coalition of White and Black revolution had been solidly forged together with the announced goal of total revolutionary destruction of the United States. st Black community into an instrument of revolutionary violence. Probably one of the greatest blessings which could come to Americas Negro minority would be the adoption (and enforcement!) of a sound sedition law which would eliminate the current criminal conspithis racy of violence from the American scene. By means the Black community could be protected from the provocateurs who are trying to frighten, agitate, inflame and prod them into fulfilling a role in the Seventies which the American Negro consistently and magnificently rejected in the Thirties. Forties, Fifties, and Sixties. NEW SDS GOAL: TURN THE USA INTO A SHAMBLES From Berkeley to Harvard and from Stanford to (Columbia the ferocity of campus revolution began to take shape. Administration buildings were captured, university officials were held as hostages, expensive academic buildings were burned to the ground, and classes were disrupted. In the resulting furor of confrontation, both students and law enforcement officers were victimized. Many were hurt, some were killed. On hundreds of campuses orderly education was turned into virtual chaos for weeks at a time. Devereaux Kennedy, SDS organizer and student body president of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, gave a typical declaration of intention against his native land in these words: Til tell you the steps that I think will be needed. . . . This (coming revolution) is going to come about rebellions black in our cities, joined by some white by people. People in universities can do a number of things to help it. They have access to money and they can give these people guns, which I think they should do. They can engage in acts of terrorism and sabotage outside the ghetto. Negro people have trouble getting out because they cordon those areas off, but white can go outside, and they can blow things up and I think they should. Note Kennedys statement that White SDS activists are to follow the established Communist line of promoting the Black American minority as the basic tinder for the coming revolution. The Whites are to use their money to buy guns and turn them over to the Blacks. The Whites are to participate in sabotage Sino-Sovi- COMMUNIST . Marx-Lenini- st nism. Res. 467-207- 1 LEE J. A revolution- ary mass movement is different from the traditional revisionist mass base of sympathizers. Rather it is akin to the Red Guard in China , based on the full participation and involvement of masses of people in the practice of making revolution; a movement with a full willingness to participate in the violent and illegal struggle. DOMINATION OF SDS RAPIDLY EMERGES In 1965 when SDS first skirted away from LID, experienced security officers schooled to recognize the tactics of subversion, raised warning voices. But they were hooted down. They were accused of seeing Communists under every SDS bed. However, by February 10, 1966, J. Edgar Hoover had officially announced that Communists are actively promoting and participating in the activities of this organization. Soon the SDS publication Net c Left Notes was bristling with commitments to world revolution and openly announcing that the SDS was enlisted in the conquest of all mankind. Soldiers would notice Washington laboring on plans for remodeling and expanding Mount Vernon, while civilians watched them being carried out. As hope in the fight for independence grew dimmer, everyone watched to see if work at Mount Vernon would stop. So, as the work continued at Washingtons home, there was hope for victory. Washingtons home became a measure of his faith in the future. After eight long and wearisome years, the master again returned home. His faith was now rewarded he became the first citizen of America. And it was while living in his stately mansion that he received word that he had been elected as president of the United States. After that, his home was visited by world reknown politicians, historians, and other foreign dignitaries. That home, that symbol, still stands. Inside are the lamps, the spyglass, the marble mantle, the four-postbed, and even the flute that Washington never had time to learn to play. Little wonder that ships traveling the Potomac lower their flags to half mast as they pass and pay tribute to a noble man and his stalely home. Now the words of Revolution are again heard throughout the land of America; but they come from anarchists who would destroy all that Washington and colonists struggled to achieve. We are undergoing another national crisis wherein darkness, lawlessness and crime are sowing the seeds of destruction. Men of integrity must now step to the front as the father of their country did, sharing in the same hope of victory and with faith in the destiny of America. Once again America must prevail over her enemies, foreign and domestic, that the light of freedom can again shine to all nations. er S.
