Morris A Evans, of Salt Lake City, have juaU received a .shipment of Italian marble, to bo Used in erecting a monument to the memory of the lute respected President Heber C. Kimball. The monument will stand about thirteen feet high and will be five feet square at tbe base. The lower ban wtll be granite, and the up;cr part of the base on which tlie spire will constructed of red Provo rest, will sandstone at tho corners, with Italian marble panels. Tho spire will be composed entirely of the kind of marble named. Tlie sandstone and granite pinions of the monument are out and ready, and as soon as the marble is in the same condition the monument will be erected.
