G. Lewis George Oliver Lewie passed away May 14, 2002 at the age of 72. He was born November 6, 1929 in Loe Anglos, CA. to Loren and Katherine Delgardo Lewis. He married Dorothy Card on August 17, 1951 in Michigan. George served 21 years as a fire- man in the Air Force. He acted aa commander of the VFW for 3 terma. George was the kind of person that would give his last dollar to help someone else in need. He will be missed by all those who new him. He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Brian Appawoo) ; sisters, Sally Kerr, Karen (Julian) Manzanares; brother, Arthur (Pat) Lewis; 5 stepbrothers and 2 many nieces and nephews.
