A one-a- ct play, "The Laughing Ghost," was presented. Dart games, fish ponds and fun games were enjoyed. Visitors last week at the Clyde Merkley home were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Richards and family, Mantla; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Merkley and John Merkley, Logan. Mr. and Mrs. H. LeRoy Morrill received word that they have a new granddaughter. Parents are Mr. and Mrs. Callls Morrill of San Francisco, Calif. A number of Republican canl-dat- es seeking election for public office were In Tridell Friday meeting voters. Mr. and Mrs. Laren Ross received word last week that they have a new granddaughter. Parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Buchwaller, Las Vegas. The baby was born October 26, and rs weighed 6 12 lbs. The are now the parents of two children, a boy and a girl. Buck-waite- The Teachers quorum enjoyed an airplane ride and party Friday night after school. Ray Haslem took the boys up In the airplane. Boys enjoyed the flying were Terry, Clark and Ralph McKee, Randy Goodrich,, and Delbert Merkley. The Dwight Copper-fiel- d family are moving Into the Frank Mo- rrill home. Keith Haslem received a cut on his foot while riding a motor-scoot- er Friday. He had stitches taken at the Roosevelt hospital. Louise Wilson, a student at Snow College spent the weekend at home with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Nielson, Pleasant Grove, spent the weekend with Air. and Mrs. Gene Wallace. Enjoying the deer hunt and visiting at the Farrel Simmons and Gene Wallace homes were Mr. and Mrs. Jay Harvey and Orson Harvey, Clearfield, and Wallace Harvey, Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bowden, Salt Lake, spent from Wednesday until Friday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Rae Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Goodrich.
