Mr and Mrs James Paxman have moved to Myton from their ranch on North Myton bench and are now settled in the Herring house. Mr Paxman has charge of the Myton pool hall, formerly operated by Charles Sands. Harold White of Duchesne recently purchased the Paxman ranch. Dinner guests of Mr and Mrs W. R. Harris Sunday were Mr and Mrs Wm. Preece and Bishop F, S. Musser. Leonard Harris left Sunday for Carbon county where he will be employed until spring when he will return to resume his duties as ditch rider for the Indian Irrigation service. Miss Leona Larsen left Sunday for Salt Lake City to visit with her mother, Mrs Darrell Cook. Mr and Mrs Wilmer Murray went to Layton Sunday. Mr Murray remained, being employed there, while his wife returned on Monday. Mr and Mrs James Dalgleish were guests of Mr and Mrs E. W. Kronquist at Fort Duchesne Sunday evening. Emmett Woods left Monday for Ogden to visit at the home of his brother, Wallace Woods. He was accompanied by his nephew, Dee Woods, who will visit his parents. They returned home when the young sailor father left to continue his training. , Mrs Alvin Brummett returned Wednesday from Salt Lake City where she spent a few weeks with her husband before he was assigned to another camp for training in the armed forces. Charles Sands and Jay Woods left Saturday on a business trip to Savanah, Mrs Missouri. Woods and children, who have been residing in Duchesne, will make their home in Myton during Mr Woods' absence. Ras-banThose from Fruitland who attended the ceremony were Mr and Mrs Earl Sweat, Mrs Edward Mecham, Twila Sweat and Miss Margie Sweat. The young couple will make their home in d. Fruitland. Ted McNeill fell from a horse Saturday night about 7:30 and fractured his arm just below the shoulder. His parents took him to Heber where he was taken care of by the doctor at the Heber hospital. Mrs LaVerna Roberts, Mrs Aims! Humes, Mr and Mrs Alden Muir and Mr and Mrs Paul Young spent Thursday at Duchesne with Mrs R. D. Young, who has been very ill, but Is better now. Dean Todd and Roy Tidd of Heber spent Thursday visiting with Fruitland friends while Dean was home from the army. Mr and Mrs Reed Dahlman, Mrs Gay Johnson, Mrs Arvilla Epperson and Bill Dahlman of Ileber were Sunday visitors of Mr and Mrs Francis Brooks. Mr and Mrs Wm. B. Face were Duchesne visitors Thursday. Mr and Mrs Earl Sweat and Mr and Mrs Ervin Sweat spent Sunday afternoon at Strawberry with Mr and Mrs Lewis Fausett and John Fausett, who was home from the navy.
