Show llfTi Miss Margaret Dart, who spent the Thanksgiving vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart, returned to Salt Lake City, Sunday. Miss Dart is attending the University of Utah. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalglelsh, Mrs. Ralph Walker, Mrs. Fred Burger and Miss Alice Todd were the guests at a bridge dinner in Duchesne Friday evening, given by Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Murdock and Mrs. Nellie Muir. Mrs. Ralph Walker and Roy Schonian were' winners of the hih score, and Mr. C. H. Selch won the free for all prize. Marcus Tingley was a Salt Lake City visitor Sunday. He was ac- companied by his sister, Mary-Tingley, Mary-Tingley, who was home for Thanks giving. The Castle Peake Mine i3 being reopened under the management of Albert Shaw. ' Several truck loads of machinery have been taken tak-en out to the mine. Mrs. Homer Liddell entertained at a delightful bridge luncheon at her home in Duchesne Saturday afternoon, in honor of her mother, Mrs. Clark, and Miss Francis Row-lett. Row-lett. Guests from Myton were Mrs. Fred Burger, Mrs. Ralph Walker, Mrs. James Dalglelsh and Miss Alice Todd. Prizes were awarded to the guests of honor and Mrs. Fred Burger, winner of the high score. The regular meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary will be held at the home of Mrs. James Dalglelsh Wednesday, December 6th. The regular meeting of the P. T. A. Monday evening was very well attended. There were about 225 present and very interesting talks were given by Supt.' Chas. Iverson and Evans Phillips. The Roosevelt High School band played play-ed during the evening and also played for the dance after the meeting adjourned. A delicious lunch was served by the refreshment refresh-ment committee. We hope the same interest will be showh at each successive meeting during the winter meetings. At the regular meeting of Basin Lodge No. 20 F &A M on Monday night, December 4, the officers for the coming year were elected as follows: William H. Rubbpel, Jr. Worshipful Wor-shipful Master. Arthur Brown, Sr. Warden. Robert R. Burns, Jr. Warden. Bliss V. Lott, Treasurer. H. C. Wood, Secretary Thomas T. Johnston, Trustee for 3 years. After the election of officers the members present enjoyed a delightful delight-ful lunch which had been prepared by the members of the Eastern Star. I |
