Show DUCHESNE PIONEER PASSES QUIETLY Joseph Ellison Murray 69 passed passed passed pas pas- sed away early Tuesday morning He had been walking about the yard attending to various tasks when saying he felt faint going into the house he sat Bat down dO Mr Murray closed his eyes and did not re-open re them again Mr Murray Murray Murray Mur Mur- ray had been ailing for some two or three years with heart trouble which caused his death Deceased was born in Spanish Fork a son of Richard and Margaret Margaret Margaret Mar Mar- garet Murray In 1892 he married Carry arry Marie Jensen and ald to them were born nine children seven of whom survive him Mr Murray had lived a life of continuous hard work and was a worthy unselfish pioneer In 1903 Mr and Mrs I Murray moved to the Big Horn territory In Wyoming The county county county coun coun- ty was largely untamed There they remained until 1906 when the Reservation was opened and they came to Duchesne Mr Murray was one of the first settlers of Duchesne Duchesne Duchesne Du Du- Du- Du chesne and has made his home here since For a number of ot years he was employed by the city in which capacity he served until ill I health compelled him to retire a a couple of years ago I The following children survive Richard and Mrs Carry Hatch I of this city Mrs Vera Judd Helper Helper Helper Hel Hel- per Thomas and Mrs Florence Stone Idaho Falls Grant S Salt lt Lake City and LeRoy Duchesne A number of brothers and sisters are also living James Murray Altonah Mrs Margaret Williams I Provo Mrs Hannah Wilkins I Phoenix Arizona Tom Murray I Ogden and George Murray of Salt Lake City I Mr Murray will be missed a great deal by those who have I II I known of his long life liCe of ot service I |
