Besides the shale those connected with the company think that the chances of an oil well on the ground are good and a well will be sunk on the property at no distant date. The South End Oil companys land which adjoins the Bald Mountain is also being developed and will be in the active list in a short time, oil well. It is the contention of the company that the land is much more valuable as coal land than oil land.
