APRIL 5, THURSDAY, The children and grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Junius gathered at the Thompson to honor their home family mother on her birthday. A lovely dinner was served and the family ties cemented by a very pleasant hour of sociability. There will be no services held in the ward next Sunday. So many are planning to attend conference in Salt Lake City. Those who cannot go to conference would like to listen to it on the radio. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Clay and family of Coos Bay Oregon have moved into our ward to live. They will assist L C Petersen with his poultry business. We hope they feel at home in our community. Fred Abel of the U. S-- Army arrived home Monday to visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Abel. Fred enlisted thirteen months ago and this is his first furlough. He is making every minute count, but must report back to his camp in Texas in three weeks. Miss Erma Abel of Idaho Falls spent two days at home with her parents last week. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Abel. Wayne Fran com who has been employed at 2nd Street in Ogden was at home all last week with infection in his hand. Mr. and Mrs. Lysle Munns have moved to Burley, Idaho where they have rented a farm. Mrs. Annie Thompson and daughters, Carolyn and Annetta and Mr. Doyle Rasmussen of Corinne motored to Salt Lake City last week where they visited Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Kelley. and Mr. and Mrs. Kelley Bryan then continued on to Provo where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Billings. All these people are relatives of the Thompsons. President and Mrs. Reginald Hunsaker and family have re turned to their home after spending the winter in Mesa, Arizona where they went because of ill health. They are much Improved. Miss Florence Larkin recently returned from, a mission in Hawaii spent several days of this week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rex Adams and Mrs. Ray Newman were Ogden visitors on Saturday.
