Honor Past Presidents The annual 17th of March anniversary of the Relief Society was' the occasion for a party held Tuesday afternoon. Honored guests of the day were Past Presidents of Elwood Ward Relief Society, Louisa Christensen, Eva Hansen, Ada Fridal, Rebecca Mortenson, Dagmar Anderson of Logan, Ruth Lilliam Rasmussen and k Hun-sake- and Ethel Saturday. A dinner party was held last Saturday evening in honor of Mrs. James Roberts birthday. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Turiey of Garland and Mr. and Mrs. Keemen Tarbet, also of Garland who are leaving soon for their ranch in Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hansen entertained at a lovely dinner party Thursday evening. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fridal, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Rasmussen, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Fridal and Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Anderson. Primary Officers Meet e A Primary teacher and meeting was held at the home of Ethel Mae Firth's Monday night. The lesson was given by Cloe Anderson, after which lunch was served. Mrs. Eldon Anderson spent her birthday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Grover of Fielding, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Call of Layton were weekend guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eert Firth. Leland Anderson and Myrtle Anderson were in Salt Lake City Monday. Leland has been ill for the past two months. But is improving slowly. Mr. and Mrs. John Laws entertained 12 guests Saturday night to a delicious hot dinner. Those present were Mr. ' and Mrs. Jewel Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Hupp, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Doutre, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Laws, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Brown, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ballard. The remainder of the evening was spent playing cards. The Mia Maid girls have been busy the past week planning and decorating for their Rose Prom to be held Saturday in the Ward Hall. Their theme is "Sincerely". The public is invited. Mrs. Josephine Roberts, Brown, Marr Koford, and Mrs. Roy Ellis of Tooele visited at the Clifford Stark home last week. Mrs. Ellis stayed, and is visiting with her family. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stark were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Larson of Corinne Sunday. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stokes and son Ricky from Plymouth. The dinner was in honor of Mrs. Stark's birthday.
