The couple were married re cently in Burbank, California. While here, a reception was given in honor of the couple by Mr. and Mrs. Stenquist. The Alpha Chi Omega Sorority sponsored the show and luncheon, and the Alpha Chi quartet, with Miss Ann Holland as a member sang several numbers during the performance. Northern Utah Dr. Ida M. Scott, of Logan has been chosen from a group of five women from the North- ern Utah District for State Mother of the Year candidate. Dr. Scott is the mother of six Doctors sons and daughters, James, Woodrow and Winfield, Ida Vee Monson, Mary Walker and Wilma Smith. Their respective professions include author, professors, doctor, registered nurse, and personnel manager, and all are graduates of USAC. She and her husband completed courses at the Darling and Darling Chiropractic School in Witchita, Kansas', and have been practicing in Logan since 1920. After the death of her husband in 1930, Dr. Scott continued her practice and reared her family. In 1937, she married Joseph Bistline.
