Bracken Lee has been in vited to make the presentation Fiftieth Anniversary The event, which nearly 75 farm organization leaders and other individuals with whom the agents work closely will attend by invitation, has been arranged in connection with the observance of the fiftieth anniversary of farm demonstration work in the United States. The principal address, "Science and Agriculture," will be delivered by Dr. Robert head of the poultry nutrition department at Lederle Laboratories, Pearl River, New York. Anson B. Call. Jr., has ochis present position cupied in Box Elder county since Aug. 1949. Mr. Call started county agent work first in 1928 when lie was appointed assistant county agent in Utah county, working there until November 1935, when he was transferred to Washington county to take over the job as county agent in Washington and Kane counties. Mr. Call received his early education at the Juaraz Stake Acadamey, at Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. After finishing school Mr. Call spent three years as a missionary for the L.D.S. Church in the Mexican Mission, after which he attended the Brigham Young University and majored in agronomy with a minor in animal husbandry. He returned and took out his masters degree from the same institution in 1928. Mr. Call married Verna Passey, of Provo, Utah, July 10, 1941 and they have five children. Paul R. Daniels, assistant county agent, started with the Extension Service July 1, 1935.
