Agriculture Committee Lists New Name, Officers A new name and a new slate of officers were annonuned this week for the state, county and community committees of the of Agriculture's Department Production and Marketing Administration. Formerly known as "PMA" committees, they will now be known as "ASC Committees," an abbreviation for "Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committees." According to Dean Coombs, Box Elder County ASC chairman, the responsibilities and functions will remain essentially the same, including adjustment activities of the Commodity Stabilization Service and the Agricultural Conservation Program.
