Show County ASCS Drama Buffs Plan Field Day Bring Home Silver 10 1985 9, On May 29 , Elanco Chemical and Tooele County ASCS tee will sponsor a field day. The group will leave at 9 a.m. from the office parking lot, and travel to the Clover area and see several May study plots. These plots were treated in 1983 with Graslan lets, which were developed specifically for brush treatment. With juniper and sagebrush as the major brush species on these plots, participants will be able to judge the effectiveness of this chemical first hand. Due to this, producers who have rangeland that needs clearing and seeding are urged to attend. This brush control method is also eligible under the Tooele County ACP program. Mr. Berry Wallace, an Elanco representative, will be present to explain what treatments were applied, costs and to answer any questions. After the tour, a steak barbecue will be held and free drawings will be held. Since steaks are being bought, those who will go on the tour are encouraged to call the office or by May 24 to make reservations. Any questions regarding the tour may also be referred to the above telephone numbers. 882-301- 8 Health Mess Ground around the old Blackhawk Resin Plant south of Tooele Is now under security guard supervision and no one is permitted entrance.
