Show Local Chapters to Sponsor Trunk or Treat in Downtown Park Come join the fun on Halloween Hal-loween when Pleasant Grove businesses will be providing a fun and safe place to trick-or-treat on Saturday, October 30, 2010. This event will be held at the Pleasant Grove City Downtown Down-town Park at 200 South Main Street from 3 until 5 p.m. All the children in the community com-munity are invited to participate in this free activity. Those business busi-ness and others participating are welcome to distribute treats, samples, flyers, etc. and are encouraged en-couraged to dress in costumes. Businesses will be assigned a designated location to set up their tables andor booths in the park. Event organizers expect there to be between 2,000 and 2,500 children attending the event this year. The event is sponsored by the I.O.O.F. Oddfellows and Rebekahs in participation with the Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce and Pleasant Grove City. Local city businesses, local lo-cal contributors, the Pleasant Grove City Council, Pleasant Grove Police and Fire Departments Depart-ments also contribute to the event.
