J Mr. and Mrs. John Rowe Sally Stocks, John Rowe Married in Recent Rites The Seventh Day Akiventist Church was the scene of a beautiful wedding, Sunday, June 7, when Sally Stocks, daughter Of Lucille Stocks, became the bride of John Rowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Rowe. Elder J. B. Currier Cur-rier officiated. The chapel was decorated with roses and snowballs, wiiih a blue wii white color scheme. The bride wore a floor-length white satin gown with chains of pearls around the throat and waist, which was set off by a fingertip veil. Her maid of honor and bridesmaids wore paste1! blue gowns, as did the tiny flower girl. The groom was attired in a dark blue suit. Following the weidding, the bridal party receiving line was formed in the Church recreation hall, where the young couple greeted guests of the wedding. Miss Marliiyn Day was the maiid of honor, while Miss Judy Smart and Miss Lorett Tamgreen were bridesmaids. The flower girl was Gingef Rowe. Don Rowe served as best man,, arid Don Dunn, Ben White' and Paul White were ushers. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Day and Marilyn from Olatha, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smart and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Moore, and Miss Lillie Beeson from Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Waid from Nucla, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Riley from Monticello; and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rowe from Denver, Colorado. After the wedding the young couple, left for a. short honeymoon in Jackson' Hole, Wyoming. Upon' their return they will both enter school at La Surria College in Riverside, California. Both also have teachCng positions this fall and will make their home in Las Vegas, Nevada. |
