Show f&natr , V P i v '' .i, ' Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rowe Judith Smart, Donald Rowe United in Cortez Ceremony The home of Elder and Mrs. J. C. Smart of Cortez, Colorado, was the setting of a beautiful garden wedding wed-ding on August 23, at S p.m., when Judith Smart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smart of Salt Lake City, became the bride of Donald L. Rowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Rowe of Moab. The bride was lovely in a princess style white satin sa-tin gown overlaid with lace. Her satin and lace train was caught at the shoulder with tiny bows, and the sleeves of her gown came to her wrist. Her veil was mid-length with leaf-like flowers forming for-ming the crown. She carried car-ried a white Bible with a bouquet of yellow roses and white daisies. Maid of honor and bridesmaids wore blue satin sa-tin formal gowns and carried car-ried bouquets of white and yellow daisies. As maid of honor was Adena Austin and serving as bridesmaids were Salley Rowe and Ma-ridell Ma-ridell Maxwell. Denise Maxwell was flower girl and serving as Bible boy was Daryl Lynn Rowe, Attending At-tending as candlelighters were Mike Smart and Ma-rissa Ma-rissa Maxwell. Attending the groom as best man was John Rowe with Joe Smart and Roger Hill serving as ushers. "Oh Promise Me" and "Whither Thou Gocst" were sung by Melvin Maxwell Max-well and Claudia Fraka. The couple finished their duets by singing the "Wedding "Wed-ding Prayer Song." Elder J. C. Smart, grandfather of the bride officiated at the ceremony. ' IThe young couple left immediately after the wedding wed-ding for a short honeymoon honey-moon in Arizona. They plan to make their home in Salt Lake City where they will attend school. The bride is taking a course in cosmetology cos-metology and the groom is studying nursing. |
