Show Former Moab resident died in Colo. Former Moab resident Lloyd Ray F.dmisten, Jr., IS, a brother of Mrs. Wayne (Joanna) Shupe, Moab. died Sept. 18 in an industrial accident near Meeker, Co., when he was pinned Ix-nealh a 40-ton coal truck belonging to Northern Coal Co. He was born Juno 12, 1900 in Oklahoma City, Okla., and lived there and in Moab prior to moving to Glenwood Springs, Co., 7 years ago. He attended Glenwood Springs High School, was a member of the football and wrestling teams, and enjoyed hunting hunt-ing and fishing. He was a member of the LDS Church. He married Penny Smith in Glenwood Springs on Oct. 29, 1977. Survivors include his wife; parents, Lloyd "Tex" and Avis Edmis-ton, Edmis-ton, Glenwood Springs; 3 sisters, Mrs. Shupe, Moab, Mrs. Wayne (Vida) Kemry, Glenwood Springs, and Mrs. Daniel (Donna) Meadors, Price; and grandparents, Dick and Anna Moore, Oklahoma Okla-homa City, Okla. Services were set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at the LDS Church in Glenwood Springs with Bishop Jay M. Bair and Rev. Krey presiding. Interment In-terment will be in Rosebud Rose-bud Cemetery, Glenwood Springs. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Lloyd R. Edmisten Memorial Fund co Robert Ro-bert Laffoon, Athletic Department, Glenwood Springs High School, Glenwood Springs, Co., 81601. |
