Bowen The Dugway Proving Ground and Tooele Army Depot Inter Intramural Basketball Championship' was won by the Tooele Bads from Tooele Army Depot. Watts, Post Commander presented the First Place Trophy to the Beds. Each individual on the team received a First Place miniature trophy for winning die Championship. The Second Place Trophy was presented to Du gw ays Civilian wm for competing with Tooele in the Championship. FIRST PLACE AWABD in Dngways Intramural Leaew went to die Officers team. Each individual on that team rum received a First Place miniature trophy. The Second Place Award was won by the Civilians of Dugway Proving Ground. Third Place Award was won by Headquarters Company No. 1. The Standings from March 6th to March 9th in the Elimination Tournament went like this: The first game was played with the Officers team against Tooeles Draftees. Competing for. Dugway at the match were Lt Murphy, SP5 Knight, SP4 Grady, SP4 Kawabata, and FFC McGrath. During the Team Matches, Dugway was unable to rank any high1 than second. The scores turned in by the team were good for a team with shooten firing for the first time in competition. Firing for the first time were SP5 Knight and FFC McGrath. In die individual portion of the meet the team members farad somewhat better. There were two reclassifications and SP4 Kawabata firing his lost match for Dugway narrowly missed reaching the reclassification score for sharpshooter. Reclassifying were Lt Murphy and SP4 Grady. They will be firing in the Expert end Sharpshooters classes in future matches. Grady led the way in picking up individual medals with a total of five. Lt Murphy contributed two.
