The second drop was like looking at giant ocean waves coming at you like a highballing freight train But the third drop - Ahhh -there was the real thing, nasty, treacherous, looking like a boiling cauldron It also was our undoing We watched another boat go through and get caught in a huge whirlpool and swirl about crazily. But a bath and shampoo was on everyone's minds and we all splashed around like happy porpoises Late in the afternoon we arrived at the Confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers The Colorado was already wide and deep, but d with more than more water pouring in to it, it seemed to swell before our eyes. The Colorado got wider (nearly q mile in spots) and faster. That night we found some shady poplar trees and ate, sitting on logs Our beds were in a bower of tamarack trees and we could hear the roar of the rapids below us. , 1 JA ( t Tv VLI,'. various exercises while deployed to the Pacific and Oceans They also part in the evacuation of South Vietnamese refugees, and helped provide disaster relief assistance to the people of Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean which had been struck by a cyclone Barney visited Mombasa, Indian took Savin tats Association and Loan Your Family Financial Center - Home ottice 125 Soulh Main Salt Lake City 3028 Washington Blvd Ogden Provo 47 North University Ave Clearfield 75 South State ICHUrt 125 East 6100 South Murray Trolley Square 7th East at 5th South OVER $250,000,000 IN s 15 LINDER ASSETS the interest actually earned to you when your onqmal deposit is allowed lo remain in the account lor 12 months and is comoounded Certificate accounts carry a penalty lor early withdrawal at required by Federal Regulations Yield IOjA. m)uSiC Kenya, Manila da ly Singapore . - ts and A 1974 graduate of Roy High School, he joined the Military in September 1974 ENJOYING a short rest and drink of lemonade are a couple from Chicago.
