Marie is the daughter of Grant and Clara Barlow of Clearfield. She graduated from Clearfield High and Weber State College. Marie is currently employed at IRS. Jim is the son of Jonathan and LuAnne Welch of Layton. He graduated from Layton High and attended Weber State College. Jim is presently serving in the U.S. Mrs. ROY was born Dec. 17, 1899, in Downey, Idaho, a daughter of Charles C. and Mary Amanda Knight Richardson. She was married to Peter Alberts on July 17, 1920, in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April Richardson Alberts, 80, 2155 5600 S., died Saturday, April 5, 1980, at the McKay-De- e Hospital of heart failure. W. Clay Arnell and Laura Randle 23, 1916. She has lived most of her life in the Plain City and Ogden area, moving to Roy 32 years ago. She attended schools in Plain City. She was a member of the Roy 8th LDS Ward and had then not as served Primary president, Relief Society secretary, and was a visiting teacher for over 50 years. They helped to care for Mrs. Taylors elderly mother, and also visited with their children who live in that area. Loy Leishman was in the hospital for a couple of days last week. She is home now and feeling better. Visitors recently at the home of Allen and Ramona Clapperton, were her', parents and sister from Star Valley, Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Johnson and family drove to Denver Easter for the vacation to visit with their son in law and daughter Jed and Sherrie Homer and their baby daughter. About 40 members of the National Honor Society at Roy High School are on a trip this week to Southern Utah. They will visit the Four Corners area, Lake Powell, and Zions and Bryces National Parks. She graduated from Weber High School and Weber College, and had earned a bachelors and masters degree in social work from the University of Utah in 1960. She had been assistant director of social services at the Veterans LaJolla Hospital. Among the survivors is her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Larson, of Roy. and Delbert Barbara Mansfield, of 5472 S. 3500 W. have a baby girl, born March 31 at McKay-De- e Hospital. Ron and Patricia Leavitt, former residents of Roy, and now living in Lemon Grove, Calif., had a baby boy on March 31. Mrs. Marie L. Poen, of South Ogden, died April 1 at the home of a son. She was the mother of George J. Poen, of Roy. She had lived in Colorado until moving to Ogden in 1946. Funeral serfvices were held on Friday in Ogden. Ruth Circle, of the Womens Association of the First Presbyterian Church met on Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. J.R. Johnson, in Roy. Mrs. James Orr was the hostess at her home on Wednesday evening for the Susannah Circle. Mrs. F.H. Bissenden was John Allen, of San Jose, California, was a houseguest at the home of Darwin and Margie Olson, for the weekend. He came to Utah to attend LDS Conference and to visit wit! the Olsons son Chad. He and Chad became ' jEriendsjdien Qha was a LDS as Missionary in California. Brownsyin sister and her husband, were in Toronto, Canada for several days last week. They attended an Erfirgy Convention, which featured a talk by Sheik Ahmini, who is the minister of oil for Saudi Arabia. Mr. and Mrs. George Nichols and their family, spent the Easter vacation at Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Okey Monday in Lehi visiting with their parents. The Ed Fowers, and her Orville the parents, Roylances went to Denver for the Easter holiday. They flew one way and went by train the other way. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hansen, and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Okey enjoyed a delightful trip to Southern spent Utah over the Easter Holidays. They spent most of the time in the Escalante area. Scott and Holly Pearce had a baby girl on March 10. They now have a girl and a boy in their family. Arnold Christensen has been in Salt Lake for further tests, following recent eye surgery.
