The star of this tremendous act is Mike Page who assumes the stage name of Jesse James. This fabulous entertainer lives up to his title by stealing everyones heart and robbing the crowd of their senses! One of the greatest impersonators of all times, Mike Page can break your heart with .nostalgic tunes then perform a comedy act that borders on the burlesque, When one hears Mike apply the rare quality of his voice this is quite enough excitment for one evening then the star, with his unbelievable impersonations, brings you Webb Pierce, Waylon Jennings, Elvis, Bill Anderson and many more of the top stars. The Outlaws comprise one of the best band in lively country. Jimmy Day, one of Nashvilles greatest steelman is second to none and the crowd loved him. Jimmy is Willie Nelsons right hand steelman who was loaned to Mike for this tour. Jimmy Day's haunting strings can be heard on many of the hit songs. He is one of Nashvilles most sought after steelman. This fabulous musician is also a gentleman, he came off stage during a set to thank me for bringing friends to see the band. Wes Shope, the greatest bass man in the world is also a fine vocalist who sounds Very much like Willie Nelson Bear, the drummer is also a dear person. Ed Payne an the lead guitar rounded out some tremendous music. Brenda Collins, Utahs fifteen year-olsinging sensation, performed as guest vocalist with this top Nashville act at the N.C.O. Club. We are excited with the opportunity afforded Brenda when she will appear with this great group at the Saraha hotel in Las Vegas, April 24. Brenda lauds Roy Sun Chronicle for the coverage given her talents which opened the gates of opportunity and lead to her performance with Jesse James and the Outlaws which in turn got her the Las Vegas gig. Utah will not soon forge the courtesy of Mike Page which is responsible for our Utah teenager to realize her dreams, dreams that will come true when she appears in concert w ith the Outlaws as backup band. Our salute of the week goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Dave Zintner of South Ogden who were our hosts at the beautiful new N.C.O. club where we enjoyed the fabulous act of Jesse James and the Outlaws.
