Wayne Farr has been sustained as general secretary of the Aaronic Priesthood with Hyrum Newton serving as first assistant and Joseph Christopher as second assistant. Gene Van Fleet will serve as asWilford sistant secretary. Mrs. Brent Hadley has been sustained as a teacher in the Primary. RIVERDALE SECOND Relief Society has planned a special birthday anniversary program for their meeting March 16 at 10 a.m. Following the program a luncheon will be served Mrs. Hal Davis has been sustained as the ReliefSociety educational counselor. Mrs. Howard Dixon has been sustained as the Relief Society homemaking leader. The RIVERDALE THIRD marks thedate conference of leaders of each organization extend an invitation to ward members and the stake leaders to join in the activities of the classes during that week. The Young Marrieds of the Ward went to Monte Cristo on Saturday where they enjoyed fun on tubes and snowmobiles. They enjoyed hot chocolate and donuts up in the mountains. The High Priests of the Ward are sponsoring a chicken dinner Friday at 6 p.m. in the ward cultural hall. An interesting program will be staged at 7 p.m. The affair is a building fund project. Since March is the month that the Relief Society was organized 129 years ago, the ward Relief Society presidency decided to give a birthday cake away at each of its meetings during the month. Last Wednesday morning the birthday cake was won by Mrs. Myrtle (.'arisen. Two cakes were given at the Wednesday night meeting as the Riverdale 1st and 3rd Wards met together. Mrs. Lonnie Godfrey will present the lesson in the night meeting which will begin at 7 p.m. instead of at the regular time of 7:30 p.m. There will be a program an light luncheon. RIVERDALE F'OIRTH The ReliefSociety is making plans for a program and luncheon for the ladies who attend the birthday anniversary meeting March 16. The lesson will be motted on this day. Mrs. Carolyn Aldridge has been sustained as homemaking leader in the Relief Society. The daughter of John and Toni Clawson was blessed by was blessed by her father in Sacrament services. She was given the name of Nicola. TERRACE FIFTH A special program has been planned by the sisters of the ward for the Relief Society conference meeting which will be held March 16 at 7 p.m. March 18 at 10 a.m. the social relations lesson will be given by Sandra Hodson. The son of Michael L. and Deann Canfield was blessed during Sacrament services on Sunday by his father. He was given the name of Eric. Ward conterence will be held the week of March Each organization will hold its conference meeting at the 15-2- 1. regular meeting time. TERRACE EIGHTH Coming up soon will be a very special program which will be carried out in the ward for one week. The youth will take over the full responsibility of op- erating the ward meetings, and any other business which might come up within the seven day period. Dean Foust has been chosen to serve as bishop and he will soon have his counselors chosen. Then together they will get their organizations staffed. This will be quite an experience for the youth of the ward and one that the entire ward is looking forward to with much anticipation. March 27 the High Priests and the Relief Society will host a dinner along with the help of the finance committee. The proceeds will go to the budget. Relief Society of Yesterday, Relief Society of Today and Relief Society of Tomorwill be the title of the row program which will be presented to honor the birthday of the organization. The meeting will be held March 17 at 10 a.m. A luncheon will be served.
