A birthright gives man and woman the desire to lift up their hearts to a hidden presence and power. To find faith a beacon of heartening hope, a pillar of strength. Our birthright provides the thoughts and words to tell us what we are. Out birthright, like music, lives in a world beyond words or thoughts or things. From it we find and feel the mystery of consciousness. Our birthright includes: A thankfulness for the rich increase of summer, the mortal loveliness of autumn and the gay resurrection of the spring. Our birthright Impels us to watcch patiently the movement of the stars, in their majestic order to know the splendor of the earth and sky, in all this beauty to sense its meaning -t- o dwell peacefully in its presence. Our birthright explains the prose of our daily toil. Our prayers are secret summonses for daily understanding and refreshened strength. Our birthright challenges our ability to live one with another in order and In peace.
