Show meeting will be presided at 10 a.m. by the teachers report meeting with the teachers topic being given by Barbara Wiggins. A baby sitter will be provided and we especially urge all visiting teachers to attend. SIXTH WARD Relief Society work day meeting will be held next week, Wednesday April 8 with visiting teachers at 10 am. and regular meeting at 10.30 a.m. The lesson will be given by Elva Fox, THE WARD Building Fund dinner sponsored by the Relief Society will be held April 10th at 5:30 p m. at the Lake View Stake recreation hall. Dinner will be served promptly at 5 30 p.m. Afterwhich there will be a fish pond, program, sponsored by the MIA and auction sale, the decorations are in charge of the Primary The cost is $5 per family and we hope everyone will be well enough to attend. CHURCH NEWS FIRST WARD There were nine of our ward who enjoyed the excursion to the Logan Temple Thursday evening. Relief Society meeting next Tuesday April 7, will be the theology testimony meeting at 10 am. with the visiting teachers report meets ing preceding it at 9 30 a.m. will the Miller visiting give teachers message and Ona Venable the theology lesson. WINNER OF the Speech compe-tioof the ward was Sharon Bonham who gave a speech on What Mv Church Means to Me. SECOND WARD April 12th at 12 30 p.m. fast meeting will be held and the Sunday evening service will be given bv the Relief Society at 7 p.m. 'NEXT WEEK'S Relief Society meeting will be held Wednesday April 8th at 10 a.m. with the theology lesson being given by Ienilc Buehler. THIRD WARD The first and second year Beehive class of the MIA had a party Mrs. for their former teacher, Ethel Issacson In charge were Mrs. Beth Spravcar, 1st year teacher, Mrs. Elva Tailor, 2nd year teach er was in the hospital Special guests were the presidency of the Young Ladies MIA. A lovely blanket and pajama set were given to the guest of honor for her expected heir. Sunday School will be held as usual this Sunday even though Conference is scheduled in Salt De-lore- n Coming to enjoy turkey dinner at the DeVere Adams home Sunday were Mr and Mrs. Earl Gordon of Smithfield and Erlene Gordon and John Deeming of Logan. The 16th birthday of Barbara Bingham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bingham, was celebrated Saturday evening by a birthday party at her home Judy Meldrum, Connie Strong and Dorothy Palley were in charge of the arrangements. A delightful time was had by all who were present with games and This is a psuedo radio program, your Life," presented by Barbaras mother which started at her birth and continued through to her 16th birthday. Barbaras beautiful birthday cake was made and decorated by her grandmother Spackman. Refreshments were served to Wilson, Jolcne Bradshaw, BarPauline Tesch, bara Sheffield, Sharon Child, Marie Medell and Beverley Lund, Keith Casper and John Vander Mede of Murry, James Meldrum, Glen and Ned Willey, Ronald Tubbs, Glen and Johnny and Kenneth Simmons, Allen and the Runchcl and Gary Knight guest of honor and hostesses. FOURTH WARD The Relief Society meeting for next week will be changed (this week only) it will be held Wednesday April 8th instead of April 9th. It will be the work meeting under the direction of Donna Pmgree at 2 pm. and the lesson will be given by Clara Nelson. Bazaar items will be worked on.
