SEWING CLUB MEETS A social evening was enjoyed last Thursday by the members of the Busy Bee sewing club who were entertained as guests at the home of Mrs. Grant ONiel. Those present included Mrs. Nora Axel-gar- d, Mrs. Lawrence Migliaccio Mrs. Jack World, Mrs. Chester Mills, Mrs. George Shiner, Mrs. Perry Christensen, Mrs. Ray Daand vis, Mrs. Charles Fausett Mrs. Perry Peirce, Mrs. Pete Pulli and Mrs. Dominic Bianco who were special guests. HARDING-CENTRA- OBSERVE P-T- L FOUNDERS TO A DAY The Harding-Centrwill celebrate Founders day with a visiting birthday party scheduled for Thursday night, February 17. This party, commemorating the 52nd anniversary of the founding of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers, will take place at the Harding and Central schools beginning at 7:30. All rooms will be open to parents who are extended a special invitation to look over the work of their children and to become better acquainted with the teachers. The arrangements for the event are going ahead under the direction of Mrs. Lawrence Migliaccio, head room mother, Central school, and Mrs. Clell Bateman, head room mother, Harding school. At each school refreshments will be served and during the serving a musical program will be presented. With the Harding-Centrprogram beginning at 7:30, parents having children attending the Price junior high school will have ample time to attend the Founders day program slated for the same evening at the junior high. Alley R( attended the capping ceremonies held Sunday afternoon at the Holy Cross hopital in Salt Lake City. Their daughter, Miss Mar garet Ruth Alley, was one ofj the student nurses receiving her cap and cape for having successfully performed and completed during the first six months of training, the lessons and duties assigned in the school of nursing at the hospital. An informal reception followed the ceremonies. Later that afternoon Miss Alley with her parents was honored at a dinner at the governors mansion which was presided over by her aunt, Mrs. J.
