S U N - A THE PAGE SIX Va In keeping with a current world interest, Englands coronation cere- -, mony, the Literary League of Price chose to burlesque the affair in decoration and program at their final meeting of the year, a banquet held at the tabernacle. Brilliant red and yellow formed the general color scheme, while favors of crowns were presented to each guest. Red and yellow tulips composed the tables centerpiece, and appropriate colored programs marked each place. Mrs. Eugene Hanson was toastmis-tres- s, introducing Mrs. Vernon Merrill, outgoing president. The latter introduced Mrs. Allan Ramsey, newly elected president, who was crowned in a fitting processional ceremony. Mrs. Rulon Bryner acted as chairman of the affair. Her assistants were Mrs. Ray Walters, Mrs. Bliss L. Finlayson, Mrs. Blanche Waterman, Mrs. Leola Anderson and Mrs. Eugene Hanson. Forty-eigpersons attended. ht I gan of Mohrland. She was one of the nineteen who graduated with honors from the school. For the past year she has been instructor of physical education in the North Emery high school. Hubbard of Price was named first vice president of the Eastern Utah Womens Federation, at the district convention held in Moab last Friday and Saturday. Approximately twenty ladies representing local clubs attended the conclave. A complimentary luncheon was given Friday for all visiting club members. Reports and talks were given by state leaders, including Mrs. J. L. Gibson, Salt Lake City, president; Mrs. Margaret Hare, corresponding secretary; Mrs. A. N. Smith, Price, state junior club advisor. Mrs. Gibson talked on the national convention heldjn Tulsa .Oklahoma, and Mrs. Hare discussed rehabilitation. Mrs. Fred W. Keller of Price presided as toastmistress over a banquet held Saturday evening.
