The Price office is one of six in the state, the other five being located at Salt Lake City, Ogden and Logan. Loans for construction, purchase, reconditioning and refinancing of residential dwellings in Utah have increased greatly during the past four Direct months, the report shows. loans for all purposes reduction have jumped from $2,122,950 on December 1, 1936 to $3,184 991 on April 1 this year, an increase of $1,062,041. A direct reduction loan, which is standard practice among Federal as- - sociations, is one in which the prm- cipal is continually reduced through easy monthly payments until the borrower owns his home free of debt. Assets of the six institutions likewise showed a large increase. Assets leaped from $2,917,743 on December 1 last year, to $4,750,496 this month, an increase of $1,832,753. Two of the six federals in Utah have put into effect a more liberal lending and investing policy through the adoption of a revised charter. This charter has already been applied for by 63 per cent of the Federal associations in the United States and applications for the charter from other federals in Utah are pending with the federal home loan bank iiimmiMMiMiiimimmiiimiiiMHiiimHtminiimHMMimiiimMtmiiHuirmiimtiiiimmMmiHitniiittiiiiiMiMmHiiiiMiimiinHiiitmmMiiiiuiiiimuiMiiUHimiiiiuiiiii CITY NEARS CLOSE Residents Urged To Support Campaign To Beautify Price; AH Saturday Last Day With only two days remaining in week proclaimed by the Clean-u- p Lee, all residents Bracken J.
