Show I AREA BISHOP WILL ATTEND METHODIST RECITAL GIVEN BY CARBON GIRL Outstanding Religious Leader To Be Speaker At Utah Mission Conference Prominent leaders of the Methodist church will be in attendance at the conference of the Utah mission of the church to be held in Price from May 27 to 30, inclusive, according to Dr. W. E. Blackstock, superintendent of the mission, who was a visitor in Price Wednesday. Plans for the conference were discussed by Dr. Blackstock and the Rev. T. H. Evans, pastor of the Community church here. They announced that official delegates will include the pastors and one lay representative from each church in the Utah mission, although a large number of other visitors are expected. Heading the list of religious leaders who will attend will be Dr. Ralph S. Cushman of the Denver area, whose jurisdiction includes approximately 75,000 church members in Episcopal Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Bishop Cushman Utah and Montana. held a pastorate in Asbury church in Rochester, N. Y., for 12 years prior to his election to the episcopacy in 1932. He is now serving his second term as bishop of the Denver area. Dr. Mark A. Dawber, of Philadelphia, secretary of the rural department of the Methodist board of home missions and church extensions, w'ill be another outstanding church official in attendance.
