Everyone 52else is "too weeks in busy." There are the year and after two years of taking this Jaunt, it has become wearisome. All my friends are "too busy to ride with me, so I end up ping alone. One morning one of my favorite sonp came over the radio. I sang along in high soprano. When I came to a hip, hip note I cocked my head to one side and opened my mouth wide. Just then an out of state car pulled alonplde of me. Thinking something was wrong I stopped too. They rolled the window down, and said, "Are you alrlpt lady. I said, "yes why? They said, "well pardon us, but we thoupt you were having I some kind of a seizure drove away quickly. Sometimes I sketch the beautiful mountains. I take my right hand off the wheel and with long sweeping pstures draw the contour of the landscape. I was once a water color artist (?), in grade school and hip school. My teacher, Sister Odelia had an uncontrollable passion for winter scenes. (I always remember, when I drive throup Weber Canyon in the winter time and see the Weber River, trees and brush and rocks, and I point snow-cover- and ed say, "Sister Odelia! During class one day, I pled, prayed and persuaded the teacher to let me paint an Indian on a horse, In sepia. It was beautiful. I treasured it. After I was married I proudly hung it on the wall of our three room apartment, which forever broupt forth the comment from my husband, that he couldn't make head or tail of it. The most courteous and relaxed drivers on the hiway are the salesmen. You can spot .them, by their sample cases ' heapid in the back seat, their ' white shirts and tie complete with suit. They drive at a moderate pace and never try to pass on a two lane hiway. They bide their time. The vans and inflammables the Mock-lon- g and other big trucks on the hiway are a niptmare to me. and roar with the They tail-gat- e, force of a tornado. I think they smell my fear and over some incident, or something someone has said to me. I give them L and "tell them off," but good, along with violent gesticulations. Cars slow down and their occupants turn and look back at me. Once In a while I pass a car with a Nebraska license, and 1 wave and honk with fury. One time they caught up with me and signaled me to stop. Which I did. They said, "are ou in trouble?" I replied, "no, ust happy to see someone from my home state once more. They gave me a peculiar look and drove on. They weren't a bit friendly. Anyone want to go to Bountiful with me on a Wednesday or Thursday? No, I didn't think you would.
