Show Another Utah Railroad. The New East Tintic railroad has been incorporated with 500 shares of a par value of $100 per share. ' J. A. Cunningham is president presi-dent and general manager; H. S. Young is treasurer, and F. B. Cook, secretary. These with J. A. Cunningham, Cun-ningham, Jr. and William M. Bradley Brad-ley constitute the directory of the ; company. The object of the company is to construct and operate a line of railroad between ' the Mammoth mill in the Tintic district, and the Mammoth, Ajax, Sioux, Utah, Swansea and other mines, and to transport the product cf these j mines to the Mammoth mill for consentrating and the smelting ores over the connecting railroads. The road will be standard gauge, and will be equipped with one Shea locomotive and several freight cars, the intention being to handle the cars of both the Rio Grande Western and the Union Pacific The total mileage as now agreed upon will bo something over five 1 miles, and the maximum grade will be 6 per cent Inter-Mountain Mining Review. |
