Show Hurrah for the Washington Factory. Bishop Thomas Judd, Lessee of the Rio Virgen Mills, located at Washington, Utah, has an eye to Business and is now adding a Tailoring Department to that establishment, es-tablishment, and has engaged Aaron Johnson and family, who arrived from Omaha on the 14th of the present month. He is a practical business Tailor. Th establishment is now turning out . some excellent men's cloth which they will have manufactured into gentlemen's suits, and no doubt they will show us some excellent suits in short order, and for small y per cent in cash to pay for buttons, thread, trimmings, &c, and the balance in Factory pay. We will be able to get good clothes at home, so mote it be good luck to the en-terprise. en-terprise. Now for the Tannery; then the big Boot and Shoe Factory; and any other good and uselful Home Industry; and with the cotton wood water running into St. George; the railroad running near, with a big Depot just south of our -city; and tie copper, silver and gold mines in full running order, and the big Furnaces and Quartz mills in full blast, and a large copper plant rolling out the copper and brass wire and sheet copper and brass; also see all our brass kettles made down by the Virgen; with a home market for all our produce; what is there to hinder us from being the head of the best State in the Union, as we expect Utah soon to be? And then no more Small Unions, as it will have grown large and strong, as all right minded busi- jiess men will have extended' it their support, by subscribing for and advertising in its pages and 'thereby help sustain their Home Paper. The Union has come to stay and needs your support, so ' gentlemen send in your advertisements advertise-ments and subscriptions, and give the Union a good word whenever the opportunity is presented, as it is the true friend of Dixie.
